World Market and Insanity
Today was an eventful little day!
After hitting up Panera for some you-pick-two action (which included the poppyseed salad (I pretty much only ate the fruit and some of the lettuce) and the Mediterranean veggie sandwich) I decided to take a trip around the local shopping center to see what it had to offer.
I definitely did a little damage.
I have a new obsession with Bed Bath and Beyond. Oh, and I had my first experience at world market.
I know… crazy.
Let me just tell you… I am in love. LOVE. Foodie paradise! I could die and go to heaven…inside world market.
After perusing the aisles (food section) for like 20 minutes I somehow manged to leave with $18 worth of stuff that I didn’t need.
I scored some awesome stuff today though.
- I restocked my kettle corn (Popcorn Indiana cinnamon)
- Found my beloved cinnamon somersaults
- Found a new flavor of Ginger chews (orange!)
- Bought the cutest little measuring cups
- Oh, and I got some peach flavored torani syrup. These syrups are legit.
Today was a rest day aswell. I’ve been kicking my own butt with my workouts lately and my workdays have felt slightly more brutal than usual so I decided I needed a day to chill.
Thursday I got my bodyrock on along with HIIT the beach from Tone it up and a blogilates video. My legs were definitely aching the next morning.
Friday Even though my legs were achy, I forced myself to go on a nice and hot morning run. When I got back I did some blogilates abs videos before i ran off to work for 7 hours. Work was SO BUSY. I was definitely running around like a crazy person for a good majority of the time I was there.
Saturday I woke up CRAZY sore. So sore that I contemplated giving up and being useless all morning but I knew I had to be to work in a few hours and I wanted to get a workout in before. I assumed that a barre video and the tone it up malibooty workout wouldn’t be too taxing but I ended up totally killing my bum. Worth it.
Sunday I was still sore but got in a nice tone it up workout again! I did the Bikini Sculpt workout from the Beach Babe DVD and the long and lean routine from the same DVD. I love that DVD so much. It’s such a time saver and it works!
Speaking of workout DVDs I’m thinking of starting the Insanity program. I’ve had the videos for quite some time now but I’ve been
a little really intimidated to actually start the workouts. My brother started them today and reported back that he almost puked.
My response? “Awesome! That sounds like fun, maybe I’ll start tomorrow”.
I wish I were kidding. I really did say that. Really.
If I stop being a baby then I may try the fit test tomorrow, otherwise I’m banking on getting a run in bright and early.
Maybe I’ll be ambitious and do them both. Maybe.
I also need to take advantage of my free gym pass! I was thinking of trying some new classes but don’t know which ones to try. I’ve thought about Bodyattack and Bodypump but don’t know too much about them.
Question for ya, Have you tried either of those classes? If so, what’d you think?
